Our private lakefront retreat is just a short walk from downtown Meredith. You can take a scenic stroll through Swayze Park and reach the heart of Meredith in about five minutes. Please note that, for families with small children and elderly members, our property is located on a hill with many stairs leading down to the lake, and the home has three stories, which may be inconvenient for those with mobility issues.
Downtown Meredith offers a variety of attractions, including charming restaurants, the historic Mill Falls, and the picturesque Lake Winnipesaukee and Town Docks. For a fun-filled day, drive just ten minutes to explore Funspot arcade, Weirs Beach, Monkey Trunks ropes course, and other exciting attractions. Gunstock Mountain features a ski resort, camping sites, mountain bike trails, and more. You’ll also be a short drive away from Castle in the Clouds, a beautiful location for hiking and enjoying lunch with a scenic view. Experience the best of Meredith right from our doorstep.
Guests have access to the entire property, as well as limited access to the garage, which contains life jackets, water floats, and beach towels. Please refrain from entering the furnace room and the closet under the stairs in the basement, as these areas contain equipment. There is a marked path that cannot be taken beyond the beach area for safety reasons. We provide two child-sized paddleboards and two adult-sized paddleboards, and we have access to four more next door. Additionally, there are kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat available for your use. A dumpster located on the road as you drive in to the left is available for you to dispose of your trash, and the recycling container is in the garage; please let us know when it’s full.

Other things to note:
Please be aware that there are many stairs on the property, which may not be well-suited for elderly individuals or very small children. We encourage you to view the photos carefully to ensure our home meets your needs. We do have two bedrooms on the walk-in basement level that may work for someone unable to navigate stairs, but access to the backyard requires a couple of steps up. If you have a handicapped individual in your group or need additional resources, please reach out to us to determine whether this property is right for your needs.
